Women's Artistic Gymnastics

Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) is a dynamic sport that combines strength, flexibility, and balance. Gymnasts perform routines on four apparatuses: Vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Each routine showcases the athletes' skill, control, and creativity as they tumble, leap, and twist through the air with precision. For girls, this gymnastics discipline offers numerous benefits. It builds physical strength, coordination, and flexibility while promoting confidence, discipline, and perseverance. Gymnastics encourages goal-setting and teamwork, helping young athletes develop strong mental focus and resilience both on and off the carpet.

Preschool Program

Girls Doing Push-Ups_.

Our gymnastics preschool program is all about fun, energy, and discovery! Tailored for little girls between the ages of 4 and 6 years, it introduces children to the world of gymnastics through playful activities that improve coordination, balance, and body awareness. Kids will jump, roll, and swing as they explore basic gymnastics movements in a safe supportive environment. The benefits are endless! Beyond physical fitness, preschool gymnastics builds social skills, boosts confidence, and nurtures listening and teamwork. It's a fun way for children to develop strength, flexibility, and focus while having a blast! Every class is an exciting adventure in movement!

Beginner / Novice Gymnastics

Beginner women's artistic gymnastics (WAG) follow the artistic gymnastics novice program of Gymnastics South Africa. This program emphasizes the development of FUNdamental skills (flexibility, strength, and coordination) and the introduction of gymnastics skills. Gymnasts can move freely between recreational and slightly more competitive paths, allowing them to explore their potential without pressure. Whether enjoying gymnastics for fun or competition up to the provincial level to earn their provincial colours the focus remains on personal growth to ensure a positive experience for every gymnast.

Recreational & Competitive Gymnastics (Level 5 - 10).

These gymnasts follow the Gymnastics South Africa program which aligns with the "Learn to Train," "Train to Train," and "Train to Compete" phases of the long-term athlete development model. This program helps gymnasts build advanced skills, discipline, and performance readiness. The program emphasizes steady development, ensuring that gymnasts grow physically, emotionally, and mentally while preparing those who compete to perform at their best in the regional, provincial, and national competitions.
